SCT released a new firmware update last week. I got around this morning to updating my X3 3015 tuner and loaded up the 87 octane strategy tune. Though I don't hear the cooling fan running all the time, I live in Florida... so it might be a benefit to me this summer. Gotta say, this truck hauls the mail now!!! Started my drive to work with an average 18.2 mpg.. Got to work with 18.3 after two WOT runs... Guess that's a good sign!

I have never used tuners and as I know tuners are able to remove speed limit which I'm looking to do. The question here I'm using 97 octane and i m traveling a lot with my truck to the UAE and KSA. Where in The UAE i put 98 octane and in KSA i put 91 or 95.
Do i have re program every time visiting these country ?

Thanks guys

You can always go with a higher octane fuel on the truck then tune on the vehicle. Only thing you don't want to do is have a lower fuel octane in the truck then tune. So 93 octane tune in the truck, anything 93 fuel then on up is fine. If running 87 tune, can run anything octane wise in the truck from 87 on up. Make sense?

So it means if i tune on 90 octane and while out of country i put 95 octane or 98 octane will have no problem ? And it is the same if i tune on 87 and then using 90 or upper grade will not having any problem . Am i right ?

Correct. Can always run higher grade fuel on the truck then tune loaded.

Yes, usually the SCT sf3 3015 model is what most folks go with or also the SCT Livewire TS 5015

Ok. Last question. Is it possible to remove the speed limiter and keep every thing else stock?
