First of all I want to say thanks to SCT and Franchi Motorsports! Mistakes and problems do not define a person (or a company), it's what what you do to correct those issues and/or problems when they pop up that say the most about you! And from where I stand, both have been relentless in correcting the issues that have arose. Again, thanks guys for correcting the issues in a timely and professional manner.

I finally had a chance to update my SF3 today and everything went smoothly. My ECU code was KGCP4CA. I probably would not have had an issue, but a week ago I added the brake controller to my truck and the local Ford dealer added the latest calibration to the truck when flashing it. I know that they had my best interest in mind. I spoke to the service manager about the few problems they had been seeing with the 3.5l F150's.

Anyhow.... WOW , what a difference! Very smooth and very powerful! Everything from idle to part throttle to wide open is very much improved. Normal driving (if there is such a thing after installing a new toy) is night and day different. I do have the Solo 4" exhaust and the AFE stage 2 intake installed so the truck ran good before but this is the icing on the cake!

As far as gas mileage goes, to bee honest, I've been running the snot out of it! But I drove a 80 mile section of HWY that I drive often and already it looks like it's picked up about 1 mpg or so, but it'll take a little time to to know for sure!

For those of you on the fence, I do not think you will be disappointed at all. I'm looking at it this way, if the SCT unit is this good (and affordable) now what's is going to be like in 6 months to a year after everyone really starts to play with it? We are going to have our choice of any tune at any time to match any situation that we'll ever run across.

Default wow

I am running the 93 tune right now and man is it good. I started with the 87 tune but decided to go all the way with the 93 tune. Hit the pedal on the 93 and people are surely going to wonder what is in your truck lol.

The 3000 will only work with s custom tune written for the ecoboost long as its unlocked. The 3015 unit is what has the preloaded SCT ecoboost tunes. .

I was able to get some good seat time in with the 93 octane tune tonight after the sun went down. It's been up around 100 degrees here ever since I installed the tune...tonight it was about 78 when I went out, and I was able to drive with the AC off and window open.

WOW! The truck pulls so much harder than stock it's amazing! I'm going to guess it will cut close to a second off the trucks 1/4 mile time.

As soon as the weather gets a little better I be at the track to prove that....hopefully next Friday night which is street night at my local track. I'll post the results.

P.S. The truck even idles better, smooth as silk and quiet....all you can hear is the tick tick tick.

I just got my tuner yesterday and when I tried to tune it says:

ECU Part Number
CL3A-14C204-AUC
IS UNSUPPORTED.

Funny thing is, my ECU part number is
CL3A-12A650-AUC.

Tune # 2.024PFDUS

On my actual ECU:
P/N CL3A-12A650-AUC
XD72
H/W 12B684-AA
S/N 783500931291
11-10-18

I don't know what to do now. I'll call SCT Monday I guess but I don't have time to be sitting on a PC during work hours for lengthy periods of time. FML
