SCT Livewire TS Error - Upload Failed
Just wanted to share this error and the fix with the F150forum community.
Recently ran into a 2011 F150 Ecoboost using an SCT Livewire TS 5015.
The Issue
When programming with preloaded SCT Tunes we were getting this error:
Upload Failed
An error has occured while saving vehicle stock data.
(the only option was to click done)
The Fix
From the main menu, swipe the screen left and go into vehicle info.
You'll be prompted for key on.
Next bring the tuner to the computer. If you don't have it installed already, install the sct device updater: http://sctflash.com/software/SCTDeviceUpdater.exe
Open the SCT Device Updater and Automatically Check for Updates. You should get prompted to download files. When it's done, go back to the truck and try again.
Should be good to go.

Yep, happened to me too. Got my live wire Friday after TG. Had to go the whole weekend with chronic blue *****. Called SCT Monday and got it all worked out.
Very impressed with the canned 93 from SCT. Can't wait to try one of the more aggressive tunes.
Love how I instantly gained 3mpg. I'm sure after a 100 miles or so the adaptive will get me back to my 14-15 mpg avg. (mostly city)
Incredible little engine..... Wish I could afford a salvage 3.5l tt Drive train with some Full Race upgrades and put it in my S/C'd 302 89' GT. Mid 10's maybe??

Really like the tuner but it is so long to install a tune on my truck like 20 minutes to load and it s not the first time i load a tune.
This is the only deception i have .whit my 3015 device it was more fast.

According to Morepowertuning (where I bought my tuner from) they do.

2013's are supported by custom tunes, SCT is adding the pre-loaded tunes and they will be available through the free SCT Device Updater - Auto Update.

I did it again and it said it is now available for my vehicle. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm betting it will work, when I get to it, my FX4 has the 3.55 axle ratio, that is "stock" on the FX4, but not stock for a regular f150, do I put it on 3.55, or leave it as stock on the livewire TS settings? Just so I don't mess anything up. Thanks!

We only sell brand new sealed box tuners. We do not sell married tuners but if you put the tuner in demo mode it will display as married and locked to a mustang or gt500.
It should also be noted that the tuners do no come from SCT in demo mode so it was likely something you accidentally selected while you were going through the menus.
Don't feel too bad, you are not the first person to be confused by demo mode.
