Default SCT 7015 for ecoboost

I'm looking to buy a SCT tuner for my ecoboost and I have found them on amazon for $320 and through MPT for $420. Its a daily work driver, not a race truck.
Of course having more power is nice but im more into MPG then laying rubber. MPT tunes claim 50 more HP and Torque than canned, but my question is what is my SAFEST options? Is custom tunes worth it? should I go with the cheaper buy and add customs tunes later?
Thanks Jay

its been running 93octane since the free dealer gas ran out lol. the tuner is for MPG cause im getting 13-14city, 17-18hwy. Dont get me wrong I would love to drive a 13 second supercrew but I also dont want to blow my motor.
I had a 05 5.4 screw running 14.9 in the 1/4 getting 15mpgcity, not I have a 13 eco running 15 flat getting 14city so I need to do something to make me happy with it and not blow transmissions or motors.

Well right now without a tune you are just wasting your money on premium gas... Might as well go with a 91 or 93 custom MPG tune you won't blow your motor on a mild to mid tune. It's the guys running WOT all the time on 93+ fuel having some issues.

you are right about wasting money on 93 but my engine sure does like it thank you, I'm gonna see if the 7015 goes on prime again in the next few days and buy it than buy MPT tunes

Spend the extra $40:

http://www.5startuning.com/product/1-7015-x4/

includes 4 custom tunes. They have sales where the same is $350, if you can wait.

I can always wait for a savings but ive never seen any custom tuners under $399.. I would love to order the canned tuner for $324 on amazon prime and always add tunes later but my credit card has 5% cash back starting the 1st.. yes im cheap lol
