mechanical connection to the trans, that was the first thing I looked at since if it was by wire only I would have already done anything else but have a column shift.

The more I see the headlights on the new '13s, the more I think I'm going to find a set for my truck instead of the aftermarket set I have.

I will get some as soon as I wash it.
The exterior mods so far are as follows.
Removed air dam, flex fuel badge, STX stickers, dealer ship decals, tag bracket, and running boards.
Installed black painted ford front and rear emblems, FX 20" gun metal wheels, puddle lights in side mirrors, Raptor Heads, tails, smoked third light, factory drop in bed liner, black billet grill in lower valance on front bumper, 5% tint all the way around, borla exhaust SI/DO to 3.5" black MPRB tips. There maybe something I'm missing.

Yeah I learned that today. It's gonna be a project but I'm gonna make it work. Do a detailed write up. With pictures.

Not sure why the STX couldn't and the XLT can. Same tranny in both. And I'm gonna hope very similar electronics when It comes to the shifters. The STX models do not come with the screens. Only XLTs. But I hate chrome. And couldn't find a regular cab XLT with painted bumpers.

Oh and hI-rev, I am planning on a 2/4 drop soon. I've been talking with The djm/bell tech guy. And because I do not have the block on my rear end I can only do 2" or 4" drop in the back.

I hope you figure out a way. A write would also be awesome as I really want to do something besides the column shift. My '95 L had a ratcheting floor shifter and I would like something like that but have it look more modern.

Totally agree with buying an STX to get painted bumpers. Did the same thing myself.

Here's the air dam removed. Black ford emblem ad raptor heads.

hodown - Where are you out of in FL? I'm in Daytona Beach. You have many of the mods I plan on doing to my '13 RCSB. I love how good our trucks look with the raptor lights and FX wheels! How's the Borla exhaust sound? Any drone?
