Running E85 on F150 Ecoboost
I am interested in what the true milage is when you run on the ethonal E85 in the 2011 F150 Ecoboost, I drive 95% hwy so a hwy mpg would be best for my info (not the E10 most regular gas has in it).
Ive heard everything from 6% to 30% loss in mpg.
E85 is often cheaper, but not sure the trade off is worth it in the long run, at least before the expected $5 a gallon theroized by summer 2012. Not to debate weather it will reach $5 or not, just trying to get actual mpg loss using E85.
Current prices in Atlanta indicate that I will save money in the long run, significant if you look at it over a years time as I drive over 500 miles a week just for my commute to work, if I dont lose more than roughly 22% mpg. at that % I would save a good bit, if its more towards the 6% Ill be extatic.

When the EB F-150 has this on the tailgate, then you can run E85.
