What you get online is a voucher. The tune is installed through the dealers computer/ laptop. So seems it has to be done by the dealer, probably how they ensure it is a roush tune on the truck and not someone else's for warranty.

Question Bull crap

I think if the package was that solid, Roush would have matched fords standard warranty. Not much thought was put into the sales part of the this package. Roush should have asked dealers about participating in the program, eliminating many buyers questions and increasing product sales.

Well I'm just frustrated on how someone simple can be so freaking complicated. I have not found one Roush/ford motorsport dealer in Dallas that will just install the flash.

I think Waxahachie ford is a Roush dealer. Will see if they can flash it for me.

Thats why I ended up with going with Stage 3/5* with the custom tuning and 5yr/60k mile warranty

That Tremor would be scary tuned, lol

Waxahachie is no longer a Roush dealer. I had called three weeks ago about the product before I traded the EB. Call 5-Star in Plano or Randall Reed in Garland as the Roush guy on the phone said he talks to them all the time.

I'm not sure how other dealers "participate" but I found out about this power pack when I was getting an oil change and they had I sign up advertising it. When I asked about it they answered all of my questions

Well it's official, no dealer in Dallas will flash it. 5star and Reed no longer do it. So what was Roush racing thinking when they built the kit. This just makes no sense at all.

Wow that's surprising. You'd think DFW would have enough people interested in Roush products. What about performance shops? The guy on the phone at Roush said all the mechanic needs is the Ford diagnostic tool. They download the software via the voucher and flash using the tool. Who knows though. You'd think Roush would provide a cheap tool to do it.

Default Roush power pack

Okay guys the plot thickens. The Roush field rep says the tremor already comes with a performance map, he thinks. I don't think he knows what the hell he's talking about. Houston is the closest Roush dealer to me. I'm thinking about making the drive,
The computer flash is $120 or 1 hours work.

The only advantage the tremor has over a standard truck is single cab and 410 gears. I don't think it has a different tune. How can I be sure about which tune it has?

???????????
