That is exactly one of the things in trying to figure out. If the warranty is added or not to a max of say your original warranty that is on the truck. Also if I will have to go to a rough dealership for service so that my dealership doesn't wipe out the rough tune.

Problem I have is no ford dealers are authorized roush dealers. Nearest roush dealer is 1 hour and 45 min away from from. I am interested how if I being my truck into ford, what will happen if they reset the computer or give me a hard time about the tune.

Sherwood ford is the roush dealership in Alberta. They have a huge roush inventory.

I have talked to a few different dealerships about the Roush packages. Mainly because I was pissed that a SCT device would void my warranty when the Roush packages didn't. All of them said the same thing. Any modification can void Ford's warranty. The Roush packages are warranteed under Roush and Roush alone. That's all I can get out of them though. lol

I was in Edmonton yesterday but didn't get the time to stop by Sherwood ford. But I called Bonnyville ford and apparently they are a roush dealer also. They are calling roush today to get the low down on the kit and if they can install it.

That is a lot of markup on a $650 item that takes less than an hour to install. Canadian prices?

Obviously it's a CAI and a tune but I'm curious if they actually dyno the truck. If they don't dyno the truck anyone could just buy the parts and install on the truck and save on the labor.

Most dealers don't have a dyno, but they may require that they install it to warranty it. And the dealer may have the tuning device required.
