Default Roush Power Pack 1

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Roush Power Pack 1? I am wanting to tune my truck for a little extra power, but seeing all the engines letting loose I would also like to keep some kind of warranty.

I know people are going to say custom tunes are safer/better etc. but I want to keep the warranty.

Thank you

My guess is that the Roush tuning has been developed with Ford input.

I have seen a few Ford dealers promote Roush performance upgrades and stating that they have blessings from Ford as far as warranty coverage.

As long as the warranty is good in Canada, plus if the drivability and power is good also.

I emailed Roush to see if there was any dealerships in Alberta that can calibrate the truck, still waiting on a response. I probably will call some dealerships in Edmonton to see if they know anything about it.

has anyone actually used it, its priced at 650 for an intake and tune.. which is not that bad except you only get one tune adding a claimed 50 hp and 85tq... but you get a 3 year 36k mile warranty

my dealer claims it doesn't void the factory warranty if they install it and you can also add an exhaust for extra

This is pretty interesting. I would totally tune/upgrade the engine if there were a way to do it and stay warranty legal.

seems like a good idea, keeping in mind you have Roush warranty now and not a Ford warranty.

This is interesting. I just wish ford would endorse this package and not void the warranty with it. So many people would buy this to keep their warranty intact.

You do go from a 60K/5 year Ford warranty to a 36K/3 year Roush warranty, but I wonder how it would work if you had this installed at about 30,000 miles or at 2 or 3 years. Also, the specs for the tune look very close to the canned SCT 87 tune.
