I have an '11 ecoboost, 37.5K miles and it seems to run better when it's a cold start since the rpm's are a bit higher than normal operating temps. 90% of the time it runs phenomenal and I can barely tell that it's running, but when it sputters and misses at a stoplight, you can feel it. Usually I'll see the rpm's spike just a few hundred rpm's. If I sit at the stoplight for more than a five seconds or so, it will usually smooth out. I'm going to mention it tomorrow to my dealer just so it can be documented when I get my oil changed. We shall see what they say. Plus, I've got the click when I put it into reverse and push the gas. I'll post back with results.

FWIW: I've already replaced my plugs with the sp-534's which has improved the overall idle. All the plugs came gapped at .030

Update: So I went this morning for an oil change and they said I'd have to make an appointment for the rear end click and the rough idle because they simply wouldn't have enough time to look at it for another week. So, I'm going to try and make an appt for two weeks from now as that's the earliest I can be without my truck for a day or so.

No kidding. I hope to not hear that, but I'll wait and see.

Mine does it just a tad also. It smooths out in a few seconds though typically.

So my truck went in today for the rear end click when it goes into reverse AND the occasional rough idle. We shall see what they say.....I'll post back later this week. They have me scheduled in a rental for the next four days (ford fusion). Geezus, it's gutless! Lol. And btw, it's not Ford being uber nice by giving me a rental. It's in my ESP, and extended warranty. Any time they have my truck for longer than a day, I am supposed to get a loaner, for up to 30 days. So, just wanted to throw that out there. :-)
