Default Removing the Cats on a 6.2

Hi guys,

Back in the day (15 years ago) i removed the cats on my 5.0l mustang.

Has anyone done this on the 6.2? I haven't looked yet but are there sensors that I need to address when this is done?

Anyone have any general comments. I have the Harley Exhaust but it is still a little quite. I am waiting for some things to come our from Corsa but want to do something in the mean time.

I see there are two separate cats/resignators shortly after the headers.

Then both exhausts combine into 1. After they combine there is an ice cream pail size cat about 48 inches before the muffler,

I believe this is what I am going to remove. Anyone removed this?

Correct I believe. Imo though don't do it. Not because I'm going to give you some speech about the environment but because it will end up way too loud, and you will get a ticket for it like I have :p. Also, if you ever want it back on, it will suck knowing it is never going to fit exactly back where it was when it was stock because of the welds. More trouble than its worth.

Appreciate the input.

If all goes bad then I will still get my planned corsa exhaust in a month or so.

I will post before and after video.

Awesome! I think that the corsa sounds the absolute best on our trucks
