Default Rc/sb 302 f150

She finally came in yesterday.I had the door windows tinted to match the back glass, and a 2.5'' dual exhaust/X-pipe/Dynomax Ultraflow Bullets with 3.5'' tips installed. It has a LSD with 3.55 gears, trailer tow and brake control.
I am impressed with the power it has...seems fairly quick to 60mph,but really moves from passing speeds.Feels like 60 to 95 is quicker than 0-60.Coming from a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 RC/SB Hemi with 3.92s(traded),the 5.0 F150 is competition.
One compliant I have with it though is the high tranny temps. It stays around 195ish just driving around, and the factory cooler is so small it is useless.Maybe it is just this truck,I hope,as I hate to see what it will get to while towing. In comparison the Ram would average about 160 while cruising.
Here is a few cell phone pic's....

They have found it to be optimum for tranny life and you will find the cooler to do an excellent job as I have heard people report that the tranny temp hardly rises when towing.

That thing must get up and move being so light w/ the 5.0.

Well bought, love the color and options.

Thanks for the comment.Yea,it is quicker than I expected. It will suprise a Hemi Ram I am sure,as they think all Ford F150's are slow(I came from the Dodge Hemi Ram world and a F150 has always been considered no competetion). That makes the 5.0 F150 even more of a sleeper.I am just glad to be back in a Ford.
