I have a fairly new truck 13 sc fx4 and I have sct tuner loaded with a mpt performance for my previous 2012 fx4...... I know the custom tune for my 12 wont work but my question is....

Will the pre loaded tunes from sct work with my current 2013 f150?

If I need to elaborate further let me know.

Yes, long as you have the SCT SF3 3015 model tuner ( which has preloaded SCT tunes on it ) you can use the Strategy tunes on it as they are specific to year/model/engine.

Just cant use the custom tune option.

You always find the answer after you post the question. Guess I'll have to download the updates on my new computer and update my 3015.

The canned SCT tunes are definitely better than they used to be, with more options.

Probably not going to bother with custom tunes on this one anyway. Spent enough on them with the Eco going to wait until I get few thousand kilometres on it to make sure everything is running good.
