Default Props to Mike at MPT

I ordered an MPT custom tune about 2 weeks ago and have been having some issues (surging at low rpm under moderate throttle) with my truck with the tune installed. Mike has been great at answering emails and sending a revised tune. After trying out the revised tune and still having the issues he called me tonight and said he would send me a tune that a bunch of guys are running with no issues (except for big grins). He and I are both skeptical that the problems are related to his tune. He thinks it may be the spark plugs. I have gapped them down to 0.030" but he said he has seen some that were just bad plugs from the factory. I did have one that was cracked (which I replaced) when I changed the gap. I just thought I would give him some props for the good customer service, as you don't find much of that these days.

Yup. He's good people. I had the same surge and on his advice gapped my plugs down to .030. Went away completely.

Just noticed today that mine took just a bit longer to start up. Can't be the weather here in Florida. First time I've noticed so I'll be watching this a bit more closely.
