I bought a 13 scab w/3.7 and it pulled pretty good to me for a v6 it now has 4k on the clock and seems that the power isnt as much as it once was....now i have dog the hell out of it several times getting well over 6k rpms....also my mog has always sucked *** even when i drove like a grandpa ive only gotten a best of 16mpg regardless of highway or intown driving....dunno if i should get ready to trade it off in the coming year or am i seeing it just breaking in?

There was a guy a while back who's front hubs weren't disengaging, and that affected his mileage, and power. Either way, it doesn't hurt to go to the dealer and get their opinions, and if they seem to be BS'ing you, try driving another 3.7
Don't look for fantastic mileage this time of year either, not that 16 is terrible mind you.

Ill nail the accelerater and it will downshift and go but when it hits round 5500 rpm it plateaus and just revs higher if i stay in it...i ussually just let off when it does this....maybe the oil is breaking down the display says its still 60% life but i dunno....im gonna change the oil at 5k and see what it does...

If it makes a noise take it to the dealer. U probably need internal stuff.

disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes and let it reset to factory defaults. mainly for reflash of the tranny, the shift points. on you tube is a video for adaptive learning reset. basically pull both leads off battery and jump between the + and - battery cables. i do this my wifes car about every 6 months except for jumper between the cables. the last time i disconnected the battery cables i did not have to reset my radio stations, always did have to reset everything. maybe i need to do it the way You Tube video shows. just something to try before a dealer trip.
