I went home this afternoon on my lunch break to bring the box in the house since its snowing here. I opened the box and pulled the muffler out. There are two sections of louvers with a gap in the middle. Each section of louvers face the opening of each end.

I'll get photos this evening, the service station across from where I work can't do the install until tomorrow morning. I know they do quality work but I wonder if they will get confused when they see the J-Pipe on the front midpipe.

I'll try my best not to be quick to judge. Whoever, isn't it Gin that gets better with time, wine turns to vinegar.

Exhaust shop my buddy took his to had never seen a jpipe but it got installed properly. The muffler sounds unique I guess. Can't point the louvers one direction so I guess either way would be the same.

Please do. I am interested to see what you were shipped. Cause the mach 46 muffler I paid almost $200 for has only 1/5 the louvers that another members dads 5.0 L truck has.

Really pissed me off. I find it odd SOLO is shipping two different style of mufflers. So I look forward to your pic.

Thanks!

Hell if I know. I don't drink wine. I do listen to country though and the song "Dust on the bottle" clearly states that wine gets better with time. Its gotta be true.

The style of your muffler sounds exactly like the one that's on my truck.

I was thinking more about it last night and I don't even think it's Gin that gets better, I think it's Scotch. Neither of which I drink. It's a mystery!

Here are some photos of the inside of the muffler. The box it shipped in is 70lbs. Must be something sinister about this system cause my dog barked at me the entire time I messed with it. Lol.

Just picked up the truck and I think it sounds GREAT! I haven't had a chance to get on it yet but I am very pleased. Plus it only cost me $26.50 to have it installed.
