It's Kind of good deal, Here's a comparison. I bought a Lariat Screw EB 6.5 ft box, with AC seats, Rear Camera, and Integrated Trailer Brake, with center console, remote start, and prob a few more things this one doesn't have. I took the financing and before taxes my truck came to 38,000, now at the time I could have taken the 3 grand (I think that's what it was) rebate on the lariat. So for 35 you could have bought mine. And that's only a $1500 difference.

Had a dealer do this to me on the 1st truck I wanted to buy. Problem is they offered my $7K less on my trade than what KBB and I felt it was worth. I ended up finding a dealer who beat their price, took my car for what I was asking and delivered it to my door.
I'm not sure they can pull that, unless there is fine print somewhere. It's ebay. It's a legally binding contract, and they're required to hold up their end of the bargain. If they don't....well that's up to you to pursue legal action.

I agree with your assessment though....eBay is a shady place regardless of the law and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they did exactly what's quoted above.

It's light on options for a lariat. If you really want a EB, then wait to get 1.

The price isn't bad though.

There is some law that allows them to offer the truck with ALL rebates. They got me with it...If they don't care about their reputation, they really can even add in discounts like the college buyers program, ford financing rebate, and trade in rebate. They tried to charge me 4k more than they posted by the end of it.

$8,800 Under sticker. Good, but certainly not anything super spectacular.

Then add $500 - $1,200 shipping or fly/drive if they are not local.

Plus, don't forget about this little clause in their auction. Most new car deals on eBay have something similar...
Our pricing is based on current market conditions. All new vehicle pricing includes applicable rebates which everyone has the opportunity to qualify for. Rebates are determined by the manufacture and can change at anytime. Rebates are region specific and our prices are based on Texas Region Rebates. Your rebates may be more or less depending on where you register the vehicle at.

Good point.

I didn't end up getting it. The last I saw the highest bid was around $29900 and it didn't meet their reserve.

I did send my local dealer a link to the auction asking if he match or beat the price and I haven't heard back from him.

So far the Rusty Eck Ford that someone suggested is the only Ford dealer that I've found willing to put in print that they'll go $10k under sticker.

I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with only 65k miles that I want to trade and I'm curious as to what it is worth to a dealer.
