Default For once, a thread without a problem.

I have owned this my 2012 F150 XLT 5.0 4x4 Scab for 4 and a half months now and am just shy of turning 4k miles. I would just like to shed some light on here for everyone, especially those with issues on their vehicle.

I can not express how much I love this truck. I have had zero mechanical issues. The only two issues I've had with the vehicle are cosmetic damage (One was lot damage that was fixed better than I ever could have imagined and two was recent shingle damage from off of the roof of our house). Overall, I have had no squeals, ticks, squeaks, creaks, etc. I have been getting a lifetime average of 13.3 MPG which is not far off of what I expected for living in Chicago and have a 95/5 city/hwy travel routine. All of the interior plastic is still in excellent shape as well as aligned very well with the other trim pieces, the seats are amazingly comfortable, when hauling our trailer (~4-5k lbs. depending on what we have in it), it feels like nothing is there. The steering wheel and ride are extremely smooth in virtually every condition I face, and I could probably type for days, but I can't find anything wrong with this truck. The only reason I can see myself getting rid of it is to get a Raptor or a Super Duty.

So for those of you out there with issues, know that your truck can be fixed. For those of you searching for information about this truck, know that there are tons of happy owners out there. This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned and am proud to say that I own an F150. Hopefully this brings some light to whatever may be troubling you with this vehicle.

Nice to hear!! I love mine so far & agree with you, the seats & ride are excellent! Everything about the f150 is great, I sold my Super duty King Ranch for my F150 & thought I'd really miss it, but the F150 makes it easy!!

I've had mine for a year and a half now (40,000kms) and feel the same way. What's not to love about it? I think the interior on these trucks are really nice and well put together. Most trim panels snap into place with clips, then they're bolted in place. Yep, there's lots of hard plastic but it's pretty high quality plastic IMO. Coming from an 09 Silverado LT, any interior is better than that.

It's good to hear not everyone on these forums are having problems. That's usually all I get to see.

When you type f150 into search engines like bing, this forum is the first link that pops up. As a result, people who are having problems tend to make a flood here. I absolutely love my 5.0 and love it more every time I get a chance to open the throttle. I tried unsuccessfully to find the 6.2, but can't say I am disappointed.

I haven't had any issues with my 2012 F150, my 2012 F250, my 2011 F250 or my 09 F250.

I did have repeated issue with the Clunk and my sync in my Raptor.

Can I come live by you? Jeebus, so many F-series in the driveway must be amazing.
