Here is a current pic of the updated full set (Full Front, Transmission, T-case) in bare aluminum.

And here is the fuel tank...

My fiber cover ripped off on the highway yesterday. Which part do I need to replace it? Looks like the transmission plate replaces the fiber board?

Hey guys, anyone who is looking to replace this shield...

We just came out with a new medium duty model of our transmission skid plate which is extremely economical, provides an OEM finish, and a perfect bolt on swap for this.

PM me or check out our website for details on these.

Products look great, but there is a bit of an overwhelming choice... in both materials and versions...

Can you make some recommendations for sort of a 'value combination package' for a 2011 FX4 Supercrew Ecoboost? Not for hard-core rock-crawling, but for occasional protection plus slide-plate for deeper snow.

Thanks for asking this question... This is exactly what we have been focusing on recently, to simplify choosing the correct part for your use.

We now have just THREE distinctly different options.

-10 gauge galvanized steel
: FAR tougher than oem, with much better coverage. Our new best seller, and the best bang for the buck. Galvanized finish matches that of oem Ford skid plates for a factory non-aftermarket look, whether just replacing the eco-boost transmission cover or installing a full kit.

-1/4" Aluminum: Tough (comparable to our 10ga option), Rust and corrosion resistant- can be installed bare metal. Lightest weight option makes them extremely popular.

-Heavy Duty 3/16" Steel - This is our original heavy duty plate. Excellent choice for trucks that will see true undercarriage abuse. These provide excellent, near bullet proof protection but may be overkill for most drivers that don't see significant off-road driving.

Hope this helps make the choice a little easier!

Edit:

After much debate, we have elected to remove the galvanize option on our medium duty skid plates in favor of our tried and proven heavy duty powdercoat finish, which has shown to be aesthetically and functionally superior.

Price will remain the same for now, further distinguishing them as an exceptional value!
