Installed the fr intercooler Saturday. Drove the truck yesterday and everything was fine. Nice steady turbo hiss. This morning under boost it sounds like this:

Truck runs fine and no CELs. I checked real quick under the hood and nothing seems lose. Thoughts?

Just drove it again and I can't recreate it..now I don't know what to think.

almost sounds like DV flutter. are you at a weird part throttle angle where the DV is trying to figure out if it needs to hold or vent boost?

My other turbo cars will do this at weird areas where im accelerating semi moderately.

I don't think it is a weird angle. I was able to recreate again after goin full boost. After that I was hearing it at 6lbs and higher fairly consistently. Still pulls hard though and holds boost so I am not sure what is going on. Is this normal with the FR intercooler?

At least is doesn't sound like a weed wacker.

I figured it out I think. The PVC hose is coming disconnected. It does not fit as snug to the full race charge pipe as it does to the stock one. Guess ill have to rig something or see if full race has any ideas.

I had to result to zipties...not what I wanted to do on a brand new truck, but oh we'll. I can't believe nobody else has had this issue with the full race intercooler.

Mine makes that sound when it's cold and it has OEM intake and exhaust
