I still feel something else is going on here.
Mat, you had Vargas build the turbos right? One turbo fails and now you are done with them? One shot and it's over? Why wouldn't you contact them so they could improve off that failure? I find it a little shady you sent the failed turbo to a different co. to see what failed. In a way it would've also been nice for you to discuss the failure here as well as your decision to do business with another co.
Anyway, lets get back on topic.

Anyway, lets get back on topic.
Here is the kind of guy Tony is:
He would work with you to develop a product. Make sure you got 3 to 4 turbo kits on the market, then he would start sabotaging your products to discredit you. Then come in behind you stating that he has an upgrade and its been proven to work on other platforms, blah blah blah. The BMW upgrade that he has, it was stolen from another company. Another company contracted Vargas to build them, then Tony started to be all "exclusive this and exclusive that" turned around cut off that other company and started to build them himself.
I would rather loose all my worldly possessions than work with Tony at Vargas Turbos. Nothing good has ever come with him working with anyone. If you want, ask Tony himself how many company's come to him for repeat business. If his turbos were so great, you would hear about other company's using his services or having him build turbos for them. I cannot think of one company that uses Vargas Turbos to upgrade stock turbos. Just something to think about.

So out of the kindness of your heart you tore them apart and put them back in new condition? That's the only thing I'm confused about. Why not send back the busted junk and say it was garbage. I mean, still snap pics along the way but I wouldn't have had them put back in new shape with fresh paint. That's why he is saying you tore them apart to find some proprietary turbo stuff then put them back together and parted ways. Whatever the case, business relationships don't always work, things change and become more profitable to go another route. It would have been better if it weren't blasted on the forum. So, what mm we talking about on these stg2....60+?
