Ive run nitrous on my 07 Turbo and it makes a huge difference little hesitant with this dont know how much the ecoboost will hold . I will say that even hitting it just before the 1/8th will make a difference . The truck pulls hard out of the hole until second then the weight of the truck is noticeable, and the turbos feel like there done. I little spray will hep the truck continue to pull .

Pete
this works and I will be doing the same

I ran a 14.37 stock now with tune intake I only hope I can run a 13.5 or so If not I will take your route

What will be interesting is the addition of fuel. What allows the high compression ratio and boost levels is the direct injection. Will the addition of fuel before the compression stroke result in pre-ignition?

How are you going to tie into the high pressure fuel system? Are you running a separate fuel pump with line?

I have never been a fan of nitrous on turbo cars but hey............ considering the ease of install vs the release of a custom turbo kit why not i suppose?

I think the motor will more than handle it provided you match the spray with fuel (wet).

You'd have to run a stand alone fuel system.

Also direct injection does not change the fuel's octane or when it detonates. The injectors do not control the ignition of the fuel the spark plug does. This isn't a diesel.

Boy everyone is thinking now , I like this .

1st of all I dont know if I can tap into the existing fuel line yet haven't looked at it , I maybe able too which will be alot easier install.
If not it will need a separate fuel system, so I would need a hi pressure pump and a tank in the bed or somewhere up front which I would really hate to do .
I think Wilson ProFlow has something I can use to tap into the line .

What about a specific tune for wot with juice? Does the EB monitor the widebands at wot or go open loop?

If monitors o2 and there's enough stock fuel system u could simply drop a dry kit on there.
In theory, of course.

That is what I was thinking about doing. But a smaller shot them what he is talking about 25-35 shot. Turbo motors have been known to make a small hp shot of nitrous make more power
