You won't run out of oil any faster with a can than you would without it. Without it, you would burn it. With it, you dump it. Either way, it should be equally slow. Much slower than your oil change interval should allow

Correct. We have 3 fleet owners on their 3rd set of vehicles and have removed and installed on each new group.

packplantpath I was kinda joking, because this thread keeps going in circles and really getting no answers at all, only opinions. i live in south west alabama near FT. Benning, have since i've owned my 11 Ecoboost which has 39k on it, i got it with about 10miles brand new, never had an issue love it, just mine, does not mean some people have issues though. My motor is all stock, i do have a CAI and SCT tuner that is all i run 89 or 93oct fuel with Ethanol additive with almost each tank full or every other tankful, i allow my tank to get about 1/8th and i refull to full.

Could you please PM me the names of the 3 fleet owners? I would love to pick their brains.

Thanks

They track every penny they spend in every area.

I'm going to ask again since there was no response. When did you start selling the cans for the Eco?
If my memory serves me well, I was sure you started pushing them this past fall, am I correct?

I'm also wondering who these people were that were driven out of a thread and unless I missed all of the posts, I don't recall several fleet owners posting their results.
Could you do me a favour and forward the links to those posts, please.
I'm really curious because I drive 1300 kms a week and my L/100 km is staying the same if not better as put on the kilometres.

This story has made it onto another website. Article is written by the editor of Tundra Headquarters. Does anyone care to comment on PUTC?

Looks like more obnoxious people talking about something they don't fully understand. It's not that the chemicals cause excess heat by the turbo's, it's that the chunks of carbon are hitting the blades causing cracks/bends/etc. Plus it's talking about Makuloco's video on the eco in another vehicle, but you notice that isn't mentioned at all in this article. Just another nitpicking of the facts like all journalists seem to do.

You are always having poorer gas mileage cold driving into high wind by-ways.
