So, Cyber Monday was nice.. Picked up the CTSII for just a couple bucks over $400. Made the purchase sitting on the tarmac in Chicago waiting to fly out of Ohare at 1205 AM Monday morning and it was in my mailbox by 0900 Tuesday morning... A little Plug and play later and.. Presto.. Tuned.

That being said, I'm new to the "Tuning" world - this is my first one. I like both the "Eco" tune and "Race" Tune. Both liven up the 5.0, at least according to the "butt acceleratormoter" ... Can't say for sure what the real gains are.. Overall, not quite sure what to think yet. The functionality of being able to re-flash everything is nice, especially with upcoming mods such as tires... But, worth the $400? yet TBD.

So, any takers on a discussion regarding this or other tuners? If nothing else, it looks REALLY pretty with the way I've redone the cab :P

Are Eco and Race the only options? I have the Insight CTS which is only for gauges on my Powerstroke, but just got the SCT X4 from 5-Star with canned and custom tunes. My review is in the Super Duty section, but the 5-Star Daily Tow is worth every penny. What a difference in the way it drives! It went from stodgy to fun and I haven't even tried the Performance tune.

It comes with 3 tune levels: Eco, towing, and then Race. Each has the ability to monkey with stuff like Intake sensors, cam angle, rev limiters, speedometers ..

For a plug and play system? Not bad. Been driving with the race tune for 8 days now. It's quick. Wicked quick .. Almost too quick really. I have 5000 miles of over the road time coming up this month so ... Eco will be tested shortly 😂
