Default new tune after strategy update

As some may know my ECU wiped itself clear, leaving my truck a paperweight. I was unable to force my stock tune because the ECU had NO data at all. I ordered a new tune update just now. Question is do I have to send my device to SCT for a factory clear or can I clear it myself and tune like normal?

Think he means because it is still married to the old ecu. Yes most likely you will have to send it off or they might be able to reset it remotely by you plugging the device into the computer and them logging into your computer. Give them a call they can help you our

Call SCT... They can usually help you recover. Tune update isn't going to help until you recover the stock tune.

If you saved your stock tune, on your computer ,some companies like 5* can remotely find using team viewer with you watching ,and restore your stock tune to unlock your ecm then redo your custom tunes with the new strategy code
