Am I missing something? If you are having issues with the old intercooler a previous TSB said to replace with the new intercooler...so technically this wouldn't apply to anybody? Or are they not installing new intercoolers anymore?

I still don't think they really understand the root cause. My 2011 has had no tsb's and no problems. What's different about my truck?
I don't know I had the cac done last winter but only for a cat code. I've never had the sputter loss of power on mine. I think my cat was getting blocked from to much idling and my 2.5 km trip to work and back for three weeks straight. Took it to the dealer they ordered the parts, drove it around for a week flogging it, no miss fires and the code was gone for a few days before they replaced cat. June and July here we had day after day of fog and rain 100% humidity. No problems. Go figure.

None with the 5.0 either. Best engine in these trucks is the screaming 3.7l . I've yet to see a post on that engine.

Field engineer admitted they don't know what's wrong and the cac piping will be replaced for those with power loss after 13-3-3, in October or September. Wah wah wahhhhhhh.

Same here 2011 27K miles driven in heavy snow and rain. No problems so far, yet others seem to be able to recreate the issue whenever the weather is right. I just don't understand the difference between some trucks being ok and some not. For a short time I was starting to think there was a casting flaw in some cac's that might trap a small am mount of water but who knows.
