I did!
About 500 emails over the past few weeks. I got my turbos today for the Flex, looking forward to some 600WHP (hopefully) dynos soon.
I have another intake manifold, I'll take a look at moving the bungs, so far all the plugs look good but at that HP I want to be SAFE!

Good numbers. If you want to cast an intake manifold hit me up.

dayum! 60mm compressors and 50mm turbines - what do you estimate lb/min flow rate to be? PLZ PLZ PLZ start a run at 1500rpm like this https://i.imgur.com/EAwjPtj.jpg

Don't have a 1500 rpm start, this is the closest. Found one stock vs upgraded on low boost. Both were sampled at 2000 rpms.

Ya know...I was looking through this thread and thinking "that's pretty cool...will be interesting to see how things progress" and then I hit pg3 and see you decided to crap in the street... Good luck with that, seeing as now you've entered the arena of "aftermarket turbos"...

I'm going to predict things are going to take off quickly in the next year and we'll see more than a few 600+HP Ecoboost vehicles on the road. It might be with upgraded factory fueling or having to do an aftermarket intake manifold with additional injector bungs on it with aux fueling control but this will be the year for Ecoboost mods to go BIG!

You always have to give something up. Here its later power delivery and more turbo lag, How much we will have to wait and see.

I'm more interested in cost. I saved $3k by getting a 5.0 vs eco of identical configuration. Now I have a Supercharger, header back exhaust and soon a tune. I have about $6k into that(bought the headers used from boss5.0 and a killer deal on the s/c), I want to know how this compares to the price of an eco that give similar power and this seems to fit the bill.

I will have dyno graphs at some point for comparison but I expect a little less peak torque than seen here but a very flat torque curve instead of a mountain of a peak.

People are wondering how much power the eco engine will make before it goes. The 5.0 internals weren't designed F/I just yet but handles 600rwhp all the time in mustangs. The eco engine was designed for F/I so I would gander a guess that with a good tune it would handle a similar amount of HP so long as the peak torque didn't get crazy.

The transmission seems to handle more power than the engine in these trucks when they have a good tune. Get a good tuner on the transmission side, a trans cooler, and It should last quiet a while.

Another thing I was wondering is how this setup will affect the sound of the eco truck. I would think it would make it sound better, but I'm guessing.

At this point we need to wait to see a few people do this kit and discover the results. Good job to those taking the time to do this.
