Default new personel best 3.7 et

Well mike at 5star sent me a new tune this week so I decided to try it out tn. My first run sucked with a 15.2 at 91mph an a crappy 2.3 60ft but I did manage to beat a 2valve stang. My next run I ran a new best of 15.022 at 90 mph and a 2.1 60 ft and beet a ss silverado. Very happy as of now...lettin my truck cool for a bit and gonna make one final pass and hopefully 14s... Will post vids and time slips later

Word up man! Thats pretty amazing, If you can get in the 14's thats stock 2001 GT auto times right there!

Well backed tht last run up with a 15.072 at 90..no 14s butt maybe next time. As for truck single cab 3.7 with stock 3.55s. Oonly mod is mikes tune. I've learned if u flash the stall instead of really stalling up high I got better 60fts so if anyones having probs with tht give it a try.

How much difference did the tune alone add? Any other mods, exhaust or intake? I've got the same setup all stock, except 3.73.

Truck is all stock except the tune. I did take the stock air filter out the air box during my runs. As for the new tune he sent it really runs abt the same. I like the shifts a lot better an shifts at 7200 now not 7k. I'm sure mid 14s are possible with all the bolt ons easly

Have you had the truck on a dyno to figure out where the truck should be shifting.

Higher rpms doesnt always mean faster.

No I've never had it dynoed. But I trust mike at 5star an dnt hink he woulda sent me a new tune for nthn. Most of the mustang guys with 3.7s reve up to 7800 so. And these motors make all their power at higher rpms they have no low end at all.
