So I purchased the SCT X4 and have been running the 87 Octane ... took it to the track tonight and it performed what I think were essentially stock numbers.

If I was to buy the Livernois Tuner and want to run the 93 Octane performance tune, should I change the stock sparkplugs?

Additionally does any of your current tunes take in consideration the K&N Cone/intake along with 4" catback exhaust?

Thanks!

We do recommend the latest updated spark plug design and we also sell them precision gapped to eliminate spark blow out from boost. We can tune as well for your current list of modifications and for future mods as well. All of our tune updates are free of charge and supported for life.

Feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this further.

Default Tire size adjust in BCM

Livernois - I just purchased your tuner for my 2015 F150 EB and found out that you need a separate tuner to set tire height changes. Livernois recommended a Hypertech unit that does just that. So the question I asked on your website: does the order of programming matter? Hypertech to set tire height first and ensure speedo is accurate for shift points AND then Livernois tune, vice versa, or it doesn't matter which order to use both programmers?

Thanks for the info

The tire size adjustment can be done before or after loading your tune of choice.

I have called 2 times and emailed Livernois 3 times. I can't figure out how to change tire size. Nothing appears in the tuner menu to allow a change. Do I need a software update? Timer was purchased in July 2013.
Are better tunes available now? I run the 87 tow 91 tow 87 performance and 91 performance tunes.
I have been told the tire size option comes up in the menu as soon as the tuner is plugged in. Not seeing it on my tuner. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Yes, you need a software update. Old versions didn't have the option. You may be able to just plug your tuner into the computer and run the updater program, or you may need to contact them first to make the update available to you, not sure about that.

I am very sorry to hear this. The tire size adjustment on our AIW tuner for the 2011-2014 F150 EcoBoost was added to the firmware on some after production, so it sounds like you just need to update your tuner. Please email us your information and we will set the tuner up for an update and verify all of your tunes are currently up to date. Please email the following to info @ or tuning@livernoismotorsports.com

Year, make, model
Strategy code
Serial number of the tuner
Full list of modifications done to the truck if not stock
Which 4 tunes you prefer

This way we can ensure all of our records for your vehicle are complete and up top date.

Question: have any of you guys that normally run 93 (xv1 here) ever went down in octane? Obviously there will be a difference but I'm wondering how much. I'm getting stationed in Cali where 93 will be harder to find so I'll prob dial down to 87/89 since I don't have 91 octane tune (damn orders) Thanks!

Why not just request the 91 tune for free? I think xv1 is only in 91/93.
