I've been using Livernois tunes since 2012 (first on my 2011 EB, and now on my 2013, which replaced the 2011).

After dong multiple camping trips this Summer to various places, I got to know my 91 Tow Tune quite well. The tune was great, but my biggest complaint was the lack of throttle response off the line during partial throttle starts. I contacted Anthony at Livernois and explained my issue. He promptly acknowledged my correspondence and informed me that his tuner would work on a revision.

About a week later, I received a new revision for my 91 Tow Tune. Wow!! Throttle response is greatly improved - night & day. Now when I do a partial throttle start, I no longer have the lag followed by a surge of boost. The throttle response is instant, predictable and linear. The truck is always in the right gear for the given situation (hill grade, speed, etc.), just like before. The truck also feels stronger throughout the power band (I can't confirm any dyno nos., but it feels like it picked up another 20-25 ft/lbs of torque).

I tow a 30' TT, and constantly haul stuff in my truck bed, so the Tow Tune is the one I have to use the most. I highly recommend this revision to anyone who frequently tows or hauls loads. Livernois hit a home run on this one.

The F150 has several differences such as larger turbochargers and comes stock with a 3 bar MAP sensor. We already have 1 local customer that is beta testing the tune currently and will be releasing a select number of strategy codes for beta test after the holiday weekend. So stay tuned guys the wait is almost over.

So a month and a half later, can you tell us what the status is of this? Is there really a tune coming out? It's been rumored for what, almost a year of this upgraded tune? I think you guys cracked the Ford Software faster than it has taken to revise this tune.

Which strategies are you testing or did you test after the holiday weekend? I would be more than happy to help you test this new tune, my strategy is KGCP5C3.

Currently my tuner has been beta testing with local guys that are able to come down and have us tune vehicles on the dyno. Logging street miles now to prove the tunes are just as reliable as the tunes we offer remotely. We have been gathering feedback from them as well as logging miles on our own truck to be sure that the tune is duplicating the same results over multiple strategy codes and years of vehicles. Everyone has been more than thrilled with the tune and given us great feedback so the next step will be rolling this out to the masses. Stay tuned.
