New Member, EB bad gas mpg

Depends on how you drive it. If you have a heavy right foot you mpg will suck.
My life average is 18.5 mpg approaching 2000 miles on the odo. I drive like the traffic around me (eg. normal).

Gotta go all out if you're getting a prius. Baby-poop green with that stupid matte black leaf decal on the hood.
Gotta watch out tho, they put stickum on the gas pedals. If the gas stick DO NOT put it in neutral, or apply the brake, it doesn't work (according to victims).
... Seriously, who is that dumb? It won't shift into neutral? Find a guard rail and ride it out like in Forza, works every time ;-)

Mileage Records Post
Here are some real numbers not computer read-out:
F-150 Mileage PDF.pdf
This is a 2011 Screw, 3.31 rear axle, loaded Lariat. I tow a little bit but drive 95% rolling SC interstates. 65MPH cruise set going to work (no rush), 80MPH going home (Bud is waiting).
I added a bed cover in April and found NO mileage difference, looks good though.

I farm here in the red river valley. Alot of gravel road driving and not really any longer trips except except towing my 24' enclosed car hauler empty for 800 mi. 4000 on odo, trip b shows 11.8 over those miles. Most of my driving is short trips, except today ran 150 mi at 60 mph against wind,10-15mph one way avg 16.2 and with wind other way 19.5. Didn't buy truck for fiesta mileage but would like to get what 5.0L gets, maybe should buy a 5L. When new was 11.5-12 on video game now shows 13.5 -15. Pretty accurate compared to calculating by hand. Sometimes wonder about these extreme high mpg's if driven where I drive if would be same as mine. 3.55 2012 platinum

I still say the instant readout isn't the pic to post, you show a completely full tank and 20mpg, show the trip screen with x miles and the mpg, that's how I know it's legit.

Even that isn't completely accurate as someone can easily hit the Pause button when going up hills. I think some of the posts on the forum are some guys cheating a bit. I believe the ~21mpg posts over long distances, because I have seen those numbers with my previous Ecoboost with the 3.31 rear, as well as my 5.0L with 3.73s.

Few days of commute. 8.5 miles each direction with 50/50 highway and stoplights. Average is 16.5mpg being pretty conservative with it. Anything above 70 on the cruise control and the mpg plummets. Not bad. About in line with what I would expect from a fullsize truck.

I believe some, but I saw one guy with 26.? Mpg, 100miles to e, but said it was a crew cab with 3.73...
I have a Screw, 3.73, and I average 16.9-17, and if I'm being REALLY careful 20-21 on a <150mi trip.
