If you are asking Tracy to respond to his question, don't you think it's also fair that you request a response to his other questions?
"Itguy and td, can you demonstrate thru science that that crud is 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt, inconsequential to a motors internals after 20 years?... Can you then take that and prove that a motor will burn off 100% of that crud when its fed straight into the intake as it is with stock?"

Do you really want to wait 20 years for me to tell you..nope, nothing happened. The question all along has been HOW do these harm an engine. The marketing material clearly says you will harm your engine by not running a can...ok HOW.

I wasn't asking it, just pointing out the misunderstanding.

[QUOTE=snobdds;3979795]How do you prove nothing?
That's the point. You don't know if it's nothing.
I don't know if the stuff will damage my engine or not in the long term and neither do you. I didn't know the answer to that when I bought the can. I bought it knowing there was no evidence backing the claim the stuff the can catches is harmful but, stupid me, I decided I wanted only gasoline and air going into my intake.
There is at least one other catch can manufacturer who markets strongly on this forum and his marketing material is no different in it's claims than RX's yet nobody has ever jumps on him. I have to wonder why not.
Further, it seems to me Tracy or whomever it is from RX that posted on this thread had pretty much laid off posting for quite some time. It was ITguy who started it up again on the first page of the thread by directly insulting Tracy. There was no need for it.
If you are so convinced RX is guilty of false advertising, report him to the Florida Attorney General and let them deal with it. Regardless, please, for the love of God stop berating him on thread after thread after thread when the word catch cans are brought up. All it does is start up this nonsense and, trust me, it is old to all of us.
