Default New EcoBoost Owner....

I have been wanting an EcoBoost since I heard that Ford was going to put them in the F-150. My wife and I are expecting a second child so I figured it was time to up-size from the Nissan Frontier that we have been driving as our main vehicle. I got a really good deal (I think) on a 2011 FX4 CrewCab Ecoboost with leather. Sticker was $44k and I got it for $36k. So far I am really impressed with the overall quality of the truck. It is really quiet and has a good ride. I'm still kind of overwhelmed with all the gadgets that it has and it will take a while to figure out how to use all of them. I have been hanging around this forum for a few weeks, reading up on all the ecoboost related posts. Hopefully I'll get many years of service out of this truck. I rarely tow, but I do have some hunting land that requires 4wd on a regular basis just to get to, so I plan on using the locker. I look forward to learning and sharing info on this forum.

Congrats on the new ride! Your situation sounds very similar to mine... Second child came two months ago so I needed more room in the back than my Tacoma offered. Picked up my FX4 EB on Wednesday.

Nice truck. I dumped the Goodyear SR-A "all season" for Goodyear Wrangler ATs. The all season don't have enough tread for any type of off roading. If you don't have many miles on them see if the dealer will swap with you.
