If the livernois tuner allows you to reset the KAM you should, see what that does. Changing tunes doesn't reset everything in the ECU, some is saved unless you to a KAM reset.

Your mean compression is the mean RPM, not static PSI. You should consider doing a physical compression test. Another test you can do, put a piece of paper on the end of the tailpipe, if it sucks back in at any point then you probably have a bad exhaust valve (usually from running too lean).

P.S. What software are you using for these tests?
only thing i can do with the Livernois tuner is clear DTCs.

i brought the truck to Ford today, will ask them about KAM reset tomorrow, and neutral misfire relearn. btw what is KAM stand for?

the software is either IDS or something related because the friend of mine that ran the tests, specializes in Ford 5.4 and 6.0 engines

Check for any melted vent lines or electric line by the headers or exhaust

Installed headers, DTC for P460 and P450 came up Livernois retuned for headers, no more DTC. Bout a week ago I was getting a hesitation, bucking, etc at around 3000-3500 RPM. Now it is getting worse, happening at even lower RPM. Checked DTC, getting P308 and P316. Changed plugs with OE Ford Motorcraft (gapped .050) Checked coil packs Checked for clogged cats Cleaned maf Checked header bolts Did a compression test (median is 158) Had a buddy check the tune. Rear o2s are completely turned off, and he sees a little more timing than what he tunes for. Livernois does not turn off knock sensor. What the hell?
should have left it stock

Modding a truck is adding your own personal touch. Like painting a canvas. Lol

Nailed it. The KAM will remember information the computer learned, good or bad, even after tune changes. For example, if I let the truck spin too much it will learn to shift 1st gear early which will slow down my 1/4 time.

Tell me more about IDS, PM if you want.

so Ford checked it out, said injectors, pump, or anything fuel related is fine. the truck isn't missing, but they did say when they were diagnosing the problem (driving the truck) they felt as if the truck was adding too much timing under load. which to me means my tune has too much timing. left a message for Livernois, no response.

If you have access to a dyno and trust your friend that's a tuner, why have you not done this yet? That sucks that it's adding too much timing. Good luck.

because i originally had a 2011 Ecoboost, during that time my friend was working for HPE. got rid of the 2011 for a 2014, Livernois swapped the tuner over for free. friend now works locally at a performance shop
