Default My turn for a trip to the dealer

As I went to install my downpipe I found a nice oil leak coming out from between the rear of motor where it meets the trans. Looks to be motor oil so now I need to bring it in before I put my MAKs on. FML

Eco or 5.0L? Pics of oil?

I'm not trying to turn this into another Eco/5.0L thread just curious so if it is a 5.0L I can keep an eye out for mine.

'13 Eco w/ 8,xxx miles. Noticed it a few weeks ago, wiped it off and chalked it up to assembly remence but now it's back. It's not dripping on the ground but it's wet and has a "tear drop" on the oil pan ready to drip.

Can you not see the OPs sig? It says it's an eco right there.

Oil leaks out the rear main happen for numerous reasons to all engines. But, in my experience seem more **** in FI engines, I think it's because the increased pressure from blowby in the crankcase. The stealership should replace it no problem.

Perfect, now to pull full-race intercooler and afe intake or not? Does this involve pulling the motor or just the trans?

Unless the dealer already knows about it and is cool with it I would. That's should be pretty easy to swap.

Usually can be done by pulling the transmission. If it's like other recent mod motors it's a cakewalk once the trans is out.
