My Road Trip with the 3.7 (MPG's)
First My Truck:
2011 XLT SuperCab
3.7L V6, 3.73 Limited Slip
4x4 - the whole trip was 2 wheel drive.
At the start of the trip my truck had about 800 total miles on it, at the end it had 1361.
Just went on a little road trip this past weekend. I took a few pictures of the MPG's i got on the trip. The trip ended up being 556 miles all together. Overall the trip breaks down like this: Only about 80 miles were freeway speeds (70 mph) The rest were mostly between 55-62 mph (55 mph highway speed limits). Cruise was normally set around 60, but there was some construction, passing, and getting stuck behind slow drivers for a few miles. The trip was to my girlfriends for the weekend so once i was there I did a bit of city driving here and there around town. (Probably around 40-50 miles or so).
The first 180 miles were on a constant speed limit of 55 mph, except for the occasional stop light, or town where it dropped to 45 mph, so i had the cruise set for around 60-61.. At this speed i ended up at 24 mpg after the first 180 miles, then i hit the freeway. The trip there, before i started the city driving for a few days, ended up at 23.6 mpg.
All around the trip and the trip home which i said ended up being 556 miles total I got 22.6 mpg. Without the city driving mixed in between I am pretty confident that the trip would have averaged about 23.6 mpg.

24MPG 3.7 3.73 gears in a screw @ 70mph!!! however i guess i'm cheating cuz i am running a SCT X3 and an ECONOMY TUNE!!!
this was during a trip back from the airport to home which is about a 30 mile trip.
i went on a 900 round trip recently using the economy tune going down I5 with all that super gusty winds, i was getting 22MPG going 70mph constantly thru all that gust wind (normal for I5).
only the last 150 mile leg on the way back i put it to the perf/tow tune and it got 22.2MPG thru much calmer winds.
i got the truck mainly due to the mileage and the capability of still towing a 5700lbs trailer no problem.
best of both worlds, tow a mustang on a trailer a few times a year to the track which is less than 60 miles away and get great mileage on a daily basis.

I have almost the identical
Screw.....but it is not 4WD.... rest the same....... You are getting a bit better mileage.....but I did attempt a small trip of about 25 miles and did a reset on the on0board computor.... and drove at 1400 RPM ( about 50 MPH) and did record almost 26 MPG ....... but thats not practical on an everyday basis here....... return trip was closer to 22.6 ........ but I am still impressed with what this 3.7 will do! Enjoy yours!

I've recorded similar mileage on my work commute of 25 miles. Even got over 27 one trip. I was going faster but running in a string of cars which helps. Driving conditions make a huge difference in mileage.
