my ecoboost mpg numbers from my trip
These numbers are from today, from navarre beach,fl to grimsey,tn.
2012 ecoboost max tow 4x4 3.73 supercab.
I will also add that i had to drive the speed limit to achieve these numbers. On the way down i got 19.1 but i drove 80 quiet a bit.On the way back i never broke 75 and mostly drove 70.Oh yeah i have a friend with a 2010 2wd supercrew with the 5.4 who made the same trip and he said he got 16,but he said he ran it 80 most of the way.

With 500 miles you can assume a **** break or two. He has no reason to lie about his average speed. Great numbers for a 4x4 by the way.

I didn't say he lied was just trying to figure the math. I agree he got great numbers and I hope mine will get that as well.

OP did you truck always get pretty good mpg's or has it gotten better with more miles on the truck?

I made the same trip last year, except to destin instead of navarre and i got 18.1,but i ran alot harder. The mpg's are the worst for the first 15 minutes while warming up and anything over 70 mph.Btw guys those numbers are real world i started the trip counter as i pulled out of the condo, and took the pic when i pulled in my driveway. The truck will get decent numbers if you keep your foot out of it.Honeslty i don't think it's getting any better than when new i have just learned how to drive it.
