Default My ECO Was In The Shop 2 Months When .......

The service manager called and said the new Inter cooler was on indefinite back order, best guess April. I called my Ford salesman that day and told him I am lemeon lawing the truck and I want to order a 5.0 or maybe 6.2. He said come on by tomorrow and we will talk.

Well guess what..... The service manager called the next day before I got to the dealer and said your parts came in, the truck is done, detailed, and ready to go. Coinkidink? I wonder.

They're juggling their customers around because the inter cooler is in high demand. That first phone call was to see what your reaction would be and the second was their reaction to you wanting to Lemon law your truck. I hope it takes care of the problem you brought it in for.

That's what I'm thinking because I asked my salesman if he went to the service manager after we talked. He said yes, he went back there to find out what the delay is about. I have bought at least 15-20 trucks (mostly service vans) from this salesman/dealer

Don't tell the dealer you qualify for a lemon law. Call the 1-800 number for ford. I went through a similar situation with Chrysler recently with a jeep that I just traded for a ford.

Actually, you are right and that was my intention. Told my salesman this is between you and me. I know someone in the legal field that said it is between you and Ford, not the dealer. Just didn't go down that way.
