Default Mustang 5.0 Engine cover onto F-150?

I wonder if you could put the engine cover from the 5.0 onto the F-150 5.0 engine?

Truck engine looks too plain!

The cover would be nice to have if it fits. I really wish we could have the Mustang's oil filter location (like in the picture) instead of the awful horizontal setup they engineered for the 150. Whatever team conjured that disaster should have their college degrees retroactively voided.

People really need to search before posting. This has been covered quite a bit.

Yep, and there still isn't a definitive answer.

Comparing them side by side, I think the F150 has a few hoses plumbed in the way that rise up too high. The holes for the rubber gromets are in the intake just like the Mustang though.

It does look like the coil covers would fit though.

I posted the same question here:

If you find out, let me know. I do like the Boss option but I am concerned what that would do to the warranty. The plastic covers is more for looks and I wouldn't think it would affect the warranty at all.

Default Mustang engine cover

Looks great but I have no intention of disturbing factory hoses and void the warranty . But anyone know if the '15 cover works with less effort?

LucasTruck ... But anyone know if the '15 cover works with less effort?
Should (?) work (given that the mounting/attachment points are the same), however, uncertain about effort.
You may want to consider KPT2's (member here) cropped version ...

Yes the cover can be installed. Just need to reroute the heater core hoses. And yes the coil covers fit. Been on my truck since it was 3weeks old.
