MPT performance Ghost Cam tunes out now!

I honestly am not sure this tune can become what you want it to be, other than the transition from lope to regular profiles, this creates a surging rpm to create lope. It's going to surge and be ridiculous because that's just what the valve overlap does, just like a regular aggressive cam

i have always heard that these tunes weren't the best for the motor and made daily driving a nightmare. sounds like its true. i've personally always heard that there is no real need to mess with the cams on the 5.0's. unless you're not driving it daily. then by all means make it lope. kinda goes hand in hand with any other vehicle. modify too much then dependability may go down. but i will agree 100%, i love that sound lol have to be crazy not too

Yeah I mean I cant lie, it sounds great but I couldn't get over the fact that I felt like I was driving a broken truck, cause that's kinda what it felt like, and it just ate at me the whole time.

Well after a couple days after cleaning the TB it stalled on me twice today. The instructions say to contact them and do some datalogging to fix the stalling issues, but even if it didn't stall its not a very DD friendly tune. Its manageable, but I find it does take away a little and drive-thrus are not fun. Will keep to show off but definitely going back to my regular 93 Street perf tune. Sound is very nice though.

UPDATE: Hey all, so as you know I switched back to my old performance tune. I noticed a slight hesitation in it at a certain RPM that I emailed MPT about. I also let them know the issues I was having with the Ghost Cam Tune and the response I got was something along the lines of give us just a couple days we will have something for you. Just a couple days later (today actually) I got an email with two new tunes, a ghost cam and a performance. They asked if I could clean my TB and try these out, that these should address my issues.
Pretty stoked with how quick and painless that was, my other tune they just fixed is a solid 8 months old so I thought it was cool of them to update that when I know they didn't have to. I'll be out of town for a little so I wont be able to clean the TB or try these out till next week, but figured I'd let you all know that if you voice your concerns to them they will work with you! worth a shot!

Yeah, I've gone back to a regular tune as well. I honestly don't know when I'll ever use that tune anymore, just too much to deal with on a daily basis.

Went back to my regular tune also... Even hitting the throttle after started it would rev up and down and then die. Exhaust would stink and throw a service engine light every once in awhile( no stop and go traffic here). Sometimes it would work right after hitting throttle and others it would not.. It was worth a try for the price.

I had some issues with mine this weekend. Taking my time and everything after start up, backing out ofyour parking spot leaving dinner it stalled on me 3 times before I just got aggressive with it and didn't let it idle when trying to take off. It was embarrassing having a nice truck that you can't leave a parking lot with out it dying. I never had an issue before, the only difference was it was really hot and humid out at the time. I went back to my normal tune and I don't think I'll be trying my ghost tune anymore this summer, which is a bummer because it sounds so sick with my long tubes and exhaust set up.

Lmao
I hope you guys didn't pay for that tune. Why anyone would want to negate or modify the Ti-VCT to create something with zero gains is beyond me and I LOVE the hot rod lope as much as the next gear head.
