MPT 91 Perf

MPT 91 Perf
Ordered up the 91 performance street tune and have been running it about a week/500 mi. First off, what a difference in driving from stock. Took my anemic truck (3.31's and 33" duractracs) and turned it into exactly what I wanted. I ordered 91 because I'll be driving up to North Dakota every month and all they have is 91. For now i'm running 93 octane in it. I finally got to datalog today. During my 0-80 log I saw a knock range of +2.0/-7.5. During my 3rd gear pulls I saw 0/-8.9. Only performance mods I have are the AEM drop in filter and a welded in Flowmaster Super 44.

Bojangles: How do you feel about the "street" shifting? Too much, not enough or just right? I was originally wanting to do "street" but several people have suggested that I go with "chill" and that it's still a very noticeable improvement over stock.

I'm looking to do this exact same tune. My problem is mostly everywhere in my area has 92 octane with only a few stations having 93. So I'm kind of stick in between. I assume I'll have to go with a 91 tune and run it on 92/93 (no stations here actually have 91) but I'm hoping this night actually add a bit if a safety net by running the higher octane? Or is my thinking wrong?

My truck has race trans tuning and another truck I have ridden in also had the same tune. Neither felt firm or punchy. So either I am completely used to it, which I doubt, or the trans has learned my grandpa driving style and detuned itself.

I prefer the street shifting over the chill, I ran chill for about 1k miles feels like stock for the most part and you really have to stomp the gas to get it to go. I call it lazy shifting compared to street. That's my opinion, everyone's different.
