+1 I use the "gas buddy" app on my smart phone. It brings up a pretty well up to date map of gas stations and prices in the area... Have probably saved an average of 10-15cents a gallon versus filling up at a usual stop...

3.73 gear 4x4 all highway. I'm really impressed.

Default Impressed... and not...

Ok, I love my city mileage, but highway has been not so hot.
FX4 Ecoscrew with max tow/payload and the 275/65/18 Goodyear wrangler AT/S LT tires. I know the tires suck up at least 1 mpg hwy compared to the P series all season tires, but I really have to be grandma on the highway to get barely over 19mpg at 60 mph. City mpg is easy to get over the 15 mpg epa rating. This may be a result of the 3.73 gearing, and the fact I have only 2000 kms on now.
I went on a trip this weekend and loaded up 5 downhill bikes on a rack and took a highway trip 3 hours down the road, then shuttled up and down the mountain all day, then returned home. I got 14.9 mpg for the highway drive there and shuttling combined. I got 15.5 mpg hwy on the trip home.
What impressed me was the city mileage shuttling up and down the mountain with 5 different drivers and loaded with 5 bikes, gear, and men. The mileage was a little over 15mpg doing this while the steady hwy driving at 65 mph was just under 15 mpg. During the hwy drive home mpg was 15.5.
Here are some pictures of the load(minus 2 as we were still picking up riders) plus the trip meter at the fuel stop before the drive home.

P.S. I am already designing a new rack that will get the bikes into a more areo position, much like the over the tailgate trick.

dcfluid, you have my truck

I didn't start seeing better mileage on the highway until this past week. I just went over 3000 miles, not sure if that is it or not. Maybe summer gas? I have been running high test (94 octane)? Maybe because I am turning 30 this week I am getting older and driving better?
