Looks like the hero used synthetic blend.
Works for me That's the oil I've been using for about 10 years now at the dealer.

My dealer has (hopefully still has) a deal where you got the Oil & filter changed, 21 point inspection, tire rotation, and HAND wash and wax for $99.

I typically get it done every quarter even though my mileage doesn't really warrant it. $400 a year for a well serviced, cleaned and waxed truck every quarter is a small investment in my book. It also helps keep all the TSB's up to date.

Good to know that the MC blend can handle what the EB dishes out! I think I'll still stay with the full synthetic though....
My intervals almost never exceed 1000 miles as I work from home. Mine are more based on time, and the fact that my dealer has such a good service package available. And I get loaner vehicles so it's not inconvenient.

Motor craft syn oil is not a true full syn oil, it's a really refined oil that falls into a syn oil list of oils, only a few companies have a true syn oil, royal purple and few others. I've done some research on it, check it out.

Man, if I had a dealer like yours I would go every quarter also.
