Thats a good read. Its nice to see that these reviews are open minded to a new engine.

I've spent a lot of time trawling through internet forums reading about trucks and Ram forum members seem to have the most irrational hatred of the EcoBoost (or anything Ford for that matter). They also have worse spelling and grammar and tend to be the ones who make the most outrageous mileage claims. If you listen to them the Hemi gets 20% better than EPA ratings and anything Ford gets 20% worse.

He is living in a dream world. 22 mpg froma Hemi, especially a 2005, is not close to reality. My last three full size trucks have been Dodges, two with Hemis and one with a Cummins. The best I could manage on the highway was 17 mpg and around town it was 13 mpg. Mine were both 4x4s but I don't think a 2wd could do much better. I'm still a fan of the Dodge trucks and the Hemis are great engines, but the fuel mileage is no where near what I can get with my EB.
