MBRP offroad downpipe

MBRP offroad downpipe
I just finished up installing the Stainless steel offroad downpipe from MBRP. It took a total of 4 hours with two people. We had to support the transmission and remove the support in order to get the exhaust out and new in. I dunno how some of the others managed otherwise but..
I left the stock cat back on.. Started it up and it is still quiet as stock just alot more turbo whistle. In Cab you can hear a little noise wot from removing the cats but other than that it's not bad at all I'm looking into a 3" cat back now.
I have one gripe about the mbrp downpipe.. the one nut at the turbo housing on the passenger side you cannot get a 15mm socket onto once the exhaust is connected together and tightened down.. There isn't enough room between the exhaust pipe and the transmisson for a 15mm socket to go through.
SOTP It does feel like it gained a little bit. not as much as a tune but..
I'll post a video up tomorrow, but for anyone worried about the offroad downpipe being too loud. With the stock catback it's not loud at all.
Now I just need my tuner to send me a tune to eliminate the o2's

Here is the link I got it for 450 shipped, prices on amazon always change because they like to switch vendors, etc. This is stainless steel.

here is a video of the exhaust after a few hot laps around town I'm really liking that I left the stock catback. It's still quiet but yet has a nice mellow roar at wot. I'll have to take some driving videos. also after watching the videos you can see circles of smoke coming out of the exhaust, lol pretty neat.

Thanx Yea I'm very pleased in the sound only thing I'm contemplating is getting rid of the resonator just because the piping goes down to around 2.5" diameter in that area and into the muffler. It is restrictive in that area.. I dunno how much of a difference it would make but I'm looking into doing something there.
