Has anyone checked for a clogged cat? That will cause some of the issues you seem to be having and are not uncommon on these engines, particularly at your mileage.

That didn't go well.
The new computer came in at about 2.15pm MST this afternoon.
They installed a new computer & reflashed/ re-programmed today.
The mechanic test-drove, service manager test-drove, I test drove.
About 100 miles between the 3 of us.
I bought a very late lunch at about 3.30pm & re-hooked my trailer.
Truck stalled out immediately as I turned out of their lot.
3 more "wrench", and check engine lights as I circled back.
We connected the computer and found the fault only showed up "under load"
They finally agreed that the replacement throttle body with about 10k miles has failed/ out of spec.
It was only 1% out of spec when empty and would rarely trigger a "wrench" or CEL code.
Under load with a small trailer (bumper airstream trailer - 16ft 3500# trailer) - wrench/ CEL is almost immediate.
Throttle body fails by 15-20% out of spec.
Example-
Desired input is 46 degree angle
Response is about 25-30 degree angle hence 16-21 degrees off the desired angle.
(if you're unfamiliar- think about angle of tilt for air intake. 0 degrees is closed, 90 degrees is full open, wide open throttle WOT)
They are stripping a part of a new truck tomorrow because of the New Year and they want to get me fixed and out of their shop.
(I want to get out of Nebraska - nothing against this place - just not where I'm supposed to be right now)
I'm meeting them at 7.45am.
We'll test-drive with the laptop hooked up and trailer hooked.
1 more "wrench" / CEL as I went back to the hotel for the 4th night.
Please, please, please be the right fix.

back on the road, sort of...
at 8am on New Years Eve - we put in the new throttle body from a 2014 F150 on the lot.
Test drove the truck with the trailer-
Everything seemed good.
Hooked up the laptop and test drove again - monitoring the throttle body (TB), MAF, MAP and TPS.
No problems.
Seems like the "new" throttle body installed back on Thanksgiving failed after only about 10k miles.
The first dealer (Webb Ford, Schererville IN) was impossibly reluctant to replace the TB as it was a "new part". It was "just replaced" - could't be bad already.
The next dealer, Wolf Ford, Ogallala NE was reluctant but somewhat more cooperative. They re-checked wiring harness, PCM, TPS, accelerator pedal and finally replaced the TB after we finally watched the throttle body failing and "snapping closed" or not properly responding to accelerator pedal inputs.
I finally made it out of Nebraska.
Refueled in Laramie Wyoming- new check engine light.
Truck seemed to run ok but not quite perfect.
I had a suspicion this was related to the turbo as I had a P0299 code a few months ago - it seemed to "go away" after some extended driving.
I got this new code checked today here in Cali-
P0299 code
New appointment for the dealer on Monday.
Now I need to fly back to NY to get back to work.
We'll see how this goes.

Fly both ways next time is the moral of this story. ;>/ The out of town/out of state mechanical woe is such a downer.

Been a member here for a little over a year. In nearly every "trouble" thread Ford Service (Brittany) offers help, and I don't read where anyone has taken her up on the assistance, or maybe they do and don't report back. I think it could help, and if I had issues would absolutely appreciate some inside help. Just sayin'.

Brittany has helped me on several occasions. I want to thank her and Ammie for their dedicated service.
I have had more than my share of problems with my 2014 ecoboost that has had me reconsidering my purchase. First was the tranny growling then lack of power and then transmission not shifting right and last this p2112 code. Everytime she has got me in touch with the regional customer care at ford and they in return have called my dealership and made sure my concerns where addressed to my satisfaction. They have called me like clockwork to talk to me personally about my truck and I am grateful for their concern. My dealership Mel Hamilton Ford in Wichita, Ks has also done a fantastic job working with me and getting the job done.
This fall I will be purchasing another Ford F 150 ecoboost 2.7 and it wouldn't be happening except for Brittany and Aimmie.
So thanks Ford Customer Service for your dedication....
