Crap, sorry, didn't read all the thread posts. Didn't know you already had a video planned. Don't stress over me. I can wait.

I'm trying hard to get it done today... But we are suppose to be getting up to 3" of rain! Been pouring since about 5am this morning and hasn't let up... So I will try to run out if it stops and get a quick video. Don't want to ruin my nice DSLR! But I understand your impatience, I was the exact same way the day they were installing it!

BTW, is it actually true that you have to remove the spare tire and leave it removed to go dual? I can understand removal for installation but they used the word "permanently". Is that left pipe that close to the spare tire?

Yes... It is true with my setup, which is as the thread implies a Magnaflow dual setup. Not sure if it is all dual setups our not. I'm currently trying to mod an "extension" to replace the spare back up under the truck, just below the exhaust tips. However, I did notice that with just one snow and the salt associated with it there was a lot and I mean a lot of salt stuck between the upper side of the tire and the bottom of the bed of my truck.... That's with several washes using a high pressure hose up under the truck! So i'm thinking it was a good thing I found that out, and if I can't "engineer" or find a significant nice looking fix, I will leave it where it resides now... In the storage building until a long trip... :-D

So, if the final stage of the exhaust simply bends out behind the rear tires instead of going straight back, problem solved?

Don't mean to Hijack here but not all dual setups require permanent removal of the spare.

We don't have an EcoBoost exhaust yet but its good to hear someone has come to market with one that sounds good

Possibly... I haven't looked close enough to see just yet. If I am remembering correctly I think that may solve the problem, assuming of course that's how you want the exhaust ran. I may end up having to do that if I want to put my spare back under there. However,I am not certain that the extra bends needed would or wouldn't affect the sound or flow rate of this kit...

Not a problem. More information is good. But, unless it's a Ford thing, I've had "turn out" dual exhaust on several GM trucks without removing the spare. Straight out the back is usually the problem with the spare.

Can't imagine mandrel bent turn outs behind the rear tires would affect flow rate at all. Frankly just want dual for the sound more than just any possible flowrate increase. We'll still be choked at the cat if we are actually flow limited. I would imagine any possible performance increase could be realized with just a better single exhaust.

Just hoping it doesn't hurt low end torque . . . or just move the power band up helping performance but hurting H/W mpgs.
