Default Louder turbos????????

Ok I'm going to ask because I haven't seen a thread on this yet, how can I make my turbos louder on my ecoboost? Is there a way other than a new exhaust system?

A cold air intake will allow you to hear the turbos more. Not as much as a high flow catted it offroad downpipe will but does give a bit more sound up the turbos.

The cheapest quickest way is to remove all of the sound deadening material from under the truck including the rubber pcs around the upper control arms and tie rods and that stupid plastic shield under the trans.

1). Remove the "attenuators" *sp from the intake tubes (twirly thing thread)---Cost Free. Add an intake---Cost about 200-400.00. Vent it to atmosphere.---cost 3.00-30.00 depending on if you use a filter or not.

Those three come to mind.

Having done all of those, the intake made the best change. The off road down pipe is still the best.

I have a green drop in air filter. No difference. Came with a sticker which I thought was cool
