I've got 5 star tuning and had it for a while now. Very happy with it. Especially the tow/ performance tune

I am guessing that you had the T4 Performance and that the T4 Street would have taken care of your issues. T5 has a whole new throttle response that sounds like it is based of the T4 Snow tune I am currently running, very smooth and manageable at light throttle input and a beast when you step on it.

While I think the 5* P/T tune is a great tune, he is looking for more power than his LMS 91 Race, so 5* may not fit the bill for his desires.

Get one of each and do your own comparison is my best opinion. Each truck responds differently.

Iv had both tuners and not looking to buy another one, I just want to throw an exaust setup and intake on it to pick up power, I like my LMS tune I'm ready for the xv1 to come out but honestly I don't feel much difference from the ssi tunes t4 vs the v10 tune.

Then it sounds like waiting for the V10 tune is the right thing to do for you.

Downpipe before intake imo, some would say a charge air cooler would before the downpipe too, as soon as mine comes in I can add my $0.02.

I thought you were looking for power? You are not going to pick up much of anything from either an exhaust or intake... like, at all. Dynos have substantiated there is essentially nothing to gain from either of those mods. If you want your engine to sound differently, you are on the right track.

CAC, Downpipe, tune. Those are your power enhancers. The v10 is a dinosaur - it is not even close to contending. There are so many timeslips and Dynos at this point to prove that is true.

On my truck, the T4 had the smoothest shifting and smoothest part throttle driveability. Didn't care for throttle response and detonation at WOT. Hope you have better luck!

I don't know enough about LMS to advise one way or another, but remember one thing: a custom tune from a reputable tuner you trust will extract more out of that exhaust upgrade than pure bolt on power. If you can--go catless. That way, the tuner of your choice can program your tune to command the same AFR regardless of EGT. If you run cats, whether stock or not, when EGTs go up, the tune has to compensate by enriching the mixture to protect the cats from damage. That equals power loss and lower fuel economy.

DP's are def going to make power...look at the 1/4 mile times after just adding DP's.

I would say that DP's would be your next mod and pick-up a few ponies.
