Default Looking to pick up more power

I have a 2012 f150 eco boost and I'm running the livernois 91 race tune. I'm looking into a full exaust setup and mabe a cai for more power what is a good sounding exaust that will give me the best gains? The 2 exaust kits iv seen are stainless works and full race I would go with o/r downpipes. And for the cai which one is the best our there? I use my truck for towing in the summer and I like to hit the track once or twice a month So whatever will give me the best gains .

Down pipe in your scenario, then intake later. I run the AFE 2, pretty popular around these parts, I have been happy with it.

I personally like the SOLO stuff, ran the catted version on my 2011. Currently running the MAK aluminized catless on my 2013. I will switch to the SOLO later when I get done with my other mods I would like to do, but the MAK is doing a fine job right now (short of a buzz at WOT, some are now saying it is due to the stock catback being in place, I have not plans to change that anytime soon).

Hi Vic,

Honestly, the very best bump you can go with is a new tune. That 91 "race tune" you have is WAY behind the competition at this point.

While there is some noise about a new MPT tune, please be very careful and not listen to the hype. That tune has trouble written all over it until it can be and is substantiated with datalogs that demonstrate KR and AFR to name two important variables are under control.

The fastest and safest tune out is the T5 from SSI Inc.

It does not matter what anyone else who may come into this thread and toss around, look only for facts, not opinions.

An exhaust will give you very little. The DP will certianly give you a modest bump. The T5 tune will rock your world.

Good luck in getting what you are looking for!

I would like to believe ssi has the fastest and safest tunes but I haven't even seen a dyno chart or any supporting database. Just peoples opinions. I even looked on Shawn's forum and saw nothing. He does have a very devote set of follwers that come to his rescue though which is a positive sign to a point. I just don't have confidence the guy will answer the phone if I have issues like other tuners I've used in the past.

I take back what I said about the dyno charts as they are up on his site.

Well I ran the t4 From ssi for a while and hated it, I will never buy anything from those guys again so I loaded up my 91 v10 and felt better all around, I'm waiting on the xv1 tune to come out. I did forget about solo I will look into them do they have a full exaust package?

There is a dyno post by Corey in the technical section with the new T5. Definitely go find it before you spend your money!

As far as customer service, you treat him (or anyone else for that matter) with respect and you will get it in return. He is a no bull***** kind of guy, so unless you deal in bull***** it's worth your time to check them out.

Of course, opinions are like *****holes, everyone has one and they usually stink
